Alexander's Professional Landscaping provides a full range of residential and commercial landscaping services. These services include lawn care, landscaping, garden installations, delivery of materials and installation, spring and fall clean-up, snow plowing and removal, salting and shoveling.
Job Description:
Seasonal with potential to become year round for the right candidates
We are currently looking for an experienced, dependable snowplow truck drivers and shovelers to join our team for our busy snow season.
As a snowplow driver, you will be responsible for operating equipment used to clear residential and commercial areas during and after snowfall. Drivers will operate a company truck with a V-plow and spreader.
Anyone hired will be expected to be on call 24/7 during winter months. Hours will vary and may include late nights and early mornings.
Required for Plowing:

At least 3 years snow plowing experience residential driveways and/or commercial parking lots

Clean driving record for a minimum of 5 years
-
MUST have valid Driver’s License
-
At least 5 years driving experience
-
Must have transportation to job site

Must be at least 25 years of age for plow operators;
Job Duties and Description:
-
Operate truck with a V-plow to clear snow.
-
Operate spreader on back of the trucks releasing salt and/or sand
-
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
-
Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic
-
Able to work extended shifts as/if required
-
Ability to work in extreme conditions — including freezing temperatures
-
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day

Utilize equipment in a safe manner
For individuals who don’t have a license, we also have snow shoveling positions available. Please advise employer when contacting us about the job.

18 years of age or older
